Résumé

Le Professeur Martin TCHAMBA est titulaire d’un PhD en Biologie de la conservation, d’un Masters II de recherche en gestion de la biodiversité et d’un diplôme d’Ingénieur des Eaux, Forêts et Chasses.

Professeur titulaire de Biologie de la Conservation, il possède une riche expertise en matière d’aménagement forestier durable, de gouvernance forestière et des aires protégées. Son expertise s’étend entre autres à l’élaboration des plans d’affectations des terres et la également à la géomatique, la résolution des conflits, la formulation des projets, l’exécution des projets et le monitoring des impacts, l’ingénierie pédagogique et l’ingénierie de formation. Par ailleurs, il est spécialiste en entrepreneuriat et valorisation des résultats de recherche.

Parcours professionnel

De 1995 à 2010 il a travaillé pour plusieurs organisations internationales (Fonds Mondial pour la Nature, Union Internationale pour la Conservation de la Nature) ou il a occupé à la fois des postes stratégiques et opérationnelles (République Centrafricaine, Congo, Gabon, République Démocratique du Congo et Tchad). Depuis 2010, il occupe les fonctions de Chef de Département de Foresterie à l’Université de Dschang. Depuis 2017, il coordonne le Centre d’Appui à la Technologie, à l’Innovation et à l’Incubation de l’Université de Dschang (CATI2-UDs) qui a pour objectif de permettre aux innovateurs de la communauté d’exploiter leur potentiel. Il sert également d’incubateur pour les étudiants de l’UDs.
