A full professor of Conservation Biology, he has a wealth of expertise in sustainable forest management, forest governance and protected areas. His expertise extends to the development of land-use plans and geomatics, conflict resolution, project formulation, project implementation and impact monitoring, educational engineering and training engineering. He is also a specialist in entrepreneurship and the exploitation of research results.

Professionnal career

From 1995 to 2010 he worked for several international organisations (World Wide Fund for Nature, International Union for Conservation of Nature) where he held both strategic and operational positions (Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad). Since 2010, he has been Head of the Forestry Department at the University of Dschang. Since 2017, he has coordinated the Centre d’Appui à la Technologie, à l’Innovation et à l’Incubation de l’Université de Dschang (CATI2-UDs), which aims to enable innovators in the community to realise their potential. It also serves as an incubator for UDs students.
